Want your guests to have easy access to drinks

It is all in the position of the bar. After you, the bar will be the center of attention and activity. A square or round bar that’s not pushed against a wall will allow guests to be served from all sides, preventing long lines of antsy friends waiting to get a drink.

Don’t put the bar near food stations, doorways, or other high-traffic areas.  If you are having a full bar you will need to hire one bartender for every 50 guests.. If you are serving only beer and wine you will only need one bartender for every 75 guests.

On a tight budget? Why not have a cash bar.  You can serve wine and let your guest pay for any other drinks they wish.
