Prince Charming Frog Groom Cake
Judy Gray comments
Merry, Thank you very much for the cake that you for me after the puppet presentation of Bullfrog and Butterflies. It was adorable! The frog was so realistic with the cattails and lily pads that I didn’t want to cut into the cake. After admiring your work of art I was tempted to eat your delicious cake so I cut off the frog’s foot. Then I couldn’t bear seeing a footless frog, so I tried to eat him by scooping the cake out and tunneling up his leg. What an amazing creation! Thank you for your work art.

Bullfrogs and Butterflies?
Bullfrogs and Butterflies was the title of my grandson’s puppet team’s spring performances. It told a story of how when we become Christians, we need to change our lives just like a tadpole becomes a bullfrog and a caterpillar becomes a butterfly.
I surprised our Bullfrogs and Butterflies director by giving her her own frog. Judy could not believe that it was covered with frosting and took her finger poking it, then stated, “It is frosting.” She later told me she felt so bad when she cut the leg off to eat. It bothered her all day, but she kept eating it, boring thru the leg stump.
Making sculptured cakes gives me joy beyond what you can imagine. I love to take an idea someone has and run with it.
